What is a "church of Christ?"We call ourselves, "church of Christ," not as a title, but as a description, of who we are. As the Christians did in the New Testament.
Romans 16:16 We (as the Christians then,) strive to be under submission to Christ, through following His Bible teachings. For Jesus has all divine authority. Which the Apostles in that day taught from His Word. Matthew 28:18-20 We aim to not follow men. We have no creeds or rule books. Matthew 15:8-9 We follow just the Bible. It has everything we spiritually need, for our life. 2 Peter 1:3 We as a church submit to Christ, in doing His will, through following His Bible truth, alone. Ephesians 5:24 Christ Word is all we need. We make it our goal to do all our worship in His name/authority. Colossians 3:17 In following the Bible, we fix our eyes on Jesus and run our spiritual race, (in this life), for Him. Hebrews 12:1-2 Are you seeking a church family? |
We are simply Christians who simply just want to follow God, by obeying only the Bible." We believe in the inspiration of the Bible |
What to expect when visiting a "church of Christ?"
You will see a loving group of people who follow the Bible in worship. It will be distinct. For if God has not mentioned it, we don't do it. We won't follow our own idea's on how worship should be. Just the Bibles truth. If you want to see what the Bible teaches for worship, (and what we follow)... see our helpful Bible links below...
